Chief Executive Officer

Rukhsana Shah is a retired Federal Secretary. In 2015, she set up the Autism Resource Centre in Lahore, which was registered as a Welfare Trust in 2016, to create awareness about Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities in Pakistan, and to train parents and teachers of special and mainstream schools in the management of these disabilities. She writes for Dawn on issues mainly relating to gender, social welfare and rights of persons with disabilities.

Chief Operating Officer, Karachi

Dr. Salma is the COO of the Trust in Karachi. She is a qualified medical professional with many years of experience as a General Physician with voluntary work in Hospitals, Charities, and NGOs including Voice Against Torture where she was providing counselling to victims from Afghanistan. She has been working with the Trust since 2016.

Chief Operating Officer, Lahore

Mobashsharah Nighat Bajwa is a retired civil servant from the Information Service of the government of Pakistan. She has a double Majors MSc. Degree in Mass Communication & Speech Communication from the University of Illinois.

Chief Financial Officer, Karachi

Shama Ehsan Khan is from the Pakistan Audit & Accounts Service of the Government of Pakistan. She worked as DG PIFRA and DG Commercial Audit, before being posted as GM Finance of Karachi Port Trust, where she served for five years before retiring in 2015. She joined the ASD Welfare Trust in 2017.

Senior Clinical Psychologist, Karachi

Ms. Asma Ahmad obtained her MSc in Applied Psychology from the Lahore College of Women University, and then went on to achieve first position in Advanced Diploma in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Punjab. She has worked in many prestigious institutions including Punjab Institute of Mental Health, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, SOS Children’s Village, Children’s Hospital and the Oasis School Trust in Lahore. She joined ASDWT in April 2015 as its first Master Trainer.

Senior Clinical Psychologist, Lahore

Ms. Farah Amanat has an MS in Clinical Psychology from Government College University in Lahore. She worked as a Trainee at the Psychiatry Department of Mayo Hospital in Lahore before taking over as Academic Coordinator and Therapist at the Oasis School Trust for Autism. She has a wide experience as a teacher and trainer.

Clinical Psychologist, Karachi

Ms. Faiza Ilyas has a B.A Honours & Masters in Psychology, with a Post Magisterial Diploma in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi. She joined the ASDWT in 2019 and looks after trainings, seminars, coordination and media development.

Psychologist & Administrator, Lahore

Ms. Sunehra Zaidi has a Masters in Psychology from Government MAO College in Lahore. She got her experience as an internee at Mayo Hospital and at the Rahel Institute, before joining as a teacher at the Oasis School Trust for Autism. At present, she is dealing both with trainings and admin work at the ASDWT Lahore Office.

Senior IT Manager, Lahore

Ahmer Sultan has a B. Com degree and is a computer teacher and expert in developing computer trainings for children with disabilities. At present, he is looking after accounts, administration, media website management at the ASDWT in Lahore.

Accounts Officer, Karachi

Muhammad Arif has a Masters in Economics and an MBA. At present he is serving in a part-time capacity as an Accounts Officer at the ASDWT.
